The architecture

iWolff Atelier Architects have captured the opportunity of utilising the existing space on the uppermost floor of DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne - Flinders Street.

"Based on Melbourne's bold philosophy of expressive architecture, iWolff have transformed the existing raw volumes into individually designed hotel rooms. Each room expresses the industrial structure where possible and captures framed vistas to the Yarra River and beyond. This led to an opportunity to individually design each of the rooms to have their own unique qualities," said iWolff Director Gary Wolff.

Three suites utilise the industrial qualities of the building to create loft rooms within the double height volumes. Each bedroom loft area is accessed via carefully crafted staircases with glazed balustrades allowing views into the living area below and through framed windows to the busy streets of Melbourne.

With Melbourne design elements, industrial-chic architecture and spectacular views across Federation Square and Flinders Street Station when you experience Level 14, there's no mistaking which city you're in.
