Renovation of Steigenberger Hotel & Resort Camp de Mar after the summer season from November 2019 - luxury resort to reopen on 6 February 2020.

Evolution Steigenberger in Mallorca: The upcoming winter is all about renewal and renovation. The Steigenberger Hotel & Resort Camp de Mar in the southwest of the island near the picturesque fishing village of Port d'Andratx will be further modernised and will shine from February 2020 in the new Look & Feel of the Evolution Steigenberger. After the renovation in 2016, the house will be closed for three months from 10 November 2019 while further renovations take place. The reopening will be on 6 February 2020. Another four million euros will be invested in the renovation of the luxury hotel. Responsible for design concept and execution is Bachhuber Contract.

Since April 2015, RIMC Hotels & Resorts has taken over the operation as a tenant and signed a franchise agreement with Deutsche Hospitality for the name Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts. Extensive renovations were already carried out in 2016. Now, onto the next step.

Mediterranean atmosphere

After the renovation of 93 room units facing the seaside in 2016 and 2017 and the redesign of the restaurant, terrace and spa & wellness area, guests can now look forward to the 45 newly designed premium double rooms on the golf side after the closing phase in winter. The popular 17 garden terrace rooms with private sun terraces and direct access to the outdoor pool will also be renovated. The two existing Mallorca Suites with a living space of 165 m², two bedrooms each, living room, dressing room, two terraces each and a wonderful view of the Camp de Mar bay will be completely redesigned. The resulting signature suites, like the rest of the house, will exude an elegant Mediterranean ambience and a sporty, casual yet luxurious atmosphere, where you will find the tranquillity and relaxation you desire for your holiday.

Even in the winter months, preparations for the summer season are afoot. After the redesign, the pool bar and restaurant area will not only be the hotspot of the hotel complex during a summer day, but also the place to relax in the evening and enjoy a sundowner in a chilly lounge atmosphere.

In addition, small changes will be made in various parts of the entire hotel.

Active and leisure guests

The hotel's amenities include a large outdoor and indoor pool as well as its own cycling centre for bikers. The hotel is also the perfect location for golf enthusiasts. Next to the 18-hole golf course "Golf de Andratx," which is located in the direct vicinity of the hotel, there are nine other golf courses within a radius of 45 kilometres. The 1,400 m² spa and wellness area, along with the spacious fitness centre equipped with the latest generation of Technogym ergometers, also offers an oasis of wellbeing. The focus of the beauty and treatment area is the MEDICAL BEAUTY concept with the latest and state-of-the-art technologies of radio frequency, cryolipolysis and magnetic field therapy, anti-pain therapy, body contouring and medical esthetic treatments offered.

MICE Offer

Camp de Mar, with its good connection to Palma and all the hotspots on the island, is the ideal place for meetings under the Mediterranean sun. The entire conference area of 603 m², with three light-flooded conference rooms overlooking the Mediterranean garden, a large foyer of 160 m² and the adjoining patio will be redesigned to match the entire style concept of the house and will be equipped with the latest conference technology.
