Graduate Hotels is excited to announce that Graduate Eugene is now officially opens. The 275-room hotel is prominently located on 6th Avenue, adjacent to the Hult Center and in close proximity to the University of Oregon. The hotel will feature The Fir, a lobby-level restaurant with an outdoor beer garden; Poindexter, the hotel's all-day café serving coffee roasted from acclaimed Coffee Manufactory; and a Topgolf Swing Suite.

Created for travelers who seek memory-making journeys, Graduate Hotels is a thoughtfully crafted collection of hotels that reside in dynamic university-anchored cities across the country. Each property celebrates and commemorates the optimistic energy of its community, while offering an extended retreat to places that often play host to the best days of our lives.

"We are thrilled to open Graduate Eugene and bring our community-focused hospitality approach to a city full of so much inspiration and adventure," said Jason Williams, General Manager of Graduate Eugene. "Eugene has been incredibly welcoming as we approach opening, and we now look forward to inviting guests to stop in and relive their glory days."

Design throughout the hotel balances rich colors and textures, with earthy and comfortable elements that evoke a sense of nostalgia. Upon entering, guests will be welcomed by Graduate Eugene's front desk, which doubles as a shoe display case. The 43-shoe Nike collection, curated by avid Nike fan Ben Weprin, Graduate Hotels CEO and founder, features a range of models designed by the Eugene-founded company between inception and 1980. Guests can expect everything from vintage hiking boots and track spikes to bowling shoes and roller skates.

A mix of rustic surfaces and textural fabrics bring the geographic influences of Oregon's natural bounty to life within the hotel's communal spaces. Serving as the central gathering place for the hotel, the lobby's 34-person communal table is positioned alongside an expansive gallery wall featuring vintage sports posters, encouraging students, alumni and travelers alike to sit, study and reminisce.

Guest room design establishes a unique sense of place for travelers, celebrating Oregon's lush landscapes, Pacific Northwest heritage and the University of Oregon's famed track and field program. Green corduroy headboards contrast with wood tones and wallpaper featuring the University of Oregon mascot. A custom waffle-iron lamp pays homage to Nike's roots. Original artwork inspired by Oregon alums and the classic college movie Animal House, which was filmed in Eugene, is mounted on the walls.

"With Graduate Eugene, we had the unique opportunity to meld the nostalgia and comfort of a vintage hangout with the vibrancy of a city's adventurous, outdoor spirit," said Andrew Alford, Chief Creative Officer of Graduate Hotels. "Guests will enjoy extremely textural design that welcomes them in, but also inspires curiosity and an eagerness to get outside and experience all that Eugene has to offer." Graduate Eugene will be home to two unique food and beverage offerings: The Fir and Poindexter.

Positioned within the hotel's open-plan lobby is The Fir, a restaurant serving comfort food staples with a hyper-regional focus. The beverage program speaks to the Pacific Northwest with an exclusively Oregon draft beer menu, Willamette Valley focused wine list and a seasonal frozen and classic cocktail menu. The restaurant will include an outdoor beer garden space with inviting communal tables and distinctive culinary programming offerings, as well as a private dining room known as The Pit.

The lobby café, Poindexter, will serve coffee roasted from acclaimed Coffee Manufactory and bread from local partner Reality Kitchen. Adjacent to the café, a Topgolf Swing Suite experience is available for golfers and non-golfers alike. The Topgolf Swing Suite will feature simulator bays and a variety of virtual games - including the popular Topgolf target game, Hockey Shots, Baseball Pitching and more - paired with comfortable lounge seating, HDTVs and food and beverage service.

With 30,000 square feet of flexible event space, Graduate Eugene provides a variety of distinct settings to host groups of up to 1,800 guests. The hotel's 12th floor Vistas Ballroom features one of the area's only private rooftop event spaces, complete with expansive views of the University of Oregon and the Willamette River. Meeting rooms are fully equipped to optimize business gatherings, and smaller, more intimate events can be hosted in the building's two on-site food and beverage options or in the Topgolf Swing Suite.
