Hilton today announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District and Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District, bringing a total of 213 new rooms to the downtown Tampa area. The dual-brand hotel adds even more flexible options for guests visiting Tampa, which experienced an all-time record year for tourism revenue in 2018.*

Developed and managed by Tampa-based Liberty Group, Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District and Home2 Suites by Hilton are both located at 1155 East Kennedy Blvd. This property is just steps from the Tampa Convention Center, the Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena, Water Street, USF College of Medicine and Port Tampa Bay.

The dual-brand concept creates enhanced and larger communal areas than what would be standard at a stand-alone property, benefiting both business and leisure travelers. The hotel has two distinct dining areas - each catering to the needs of their respective guests - as well as a shared 24-hour business center, fitness center and outdoor rooftop pool overlooking downtown Tampa for guests to unwind. The hotel also offers flexible meeting space that can accommodate up to 150 people as well as a retail Starbucks Coffee.
