Graduate Hotels® is excited to announce that Graduate Fayetteville officially opens its doors on August 27, 2019. The 234-room hotel is located steps from Fayetteville's bustling Downtown Square, surrounded by unique shops and restaurants and walking distance from the University of Arkansas campus. The hotel will feature Poindexter, the hotel's all-day café and lobby-area bar.

Created for travelers who seek memory-making journeys, Graduate Hotels is a thoughtfully crafted collection of hotels that reside in dynamic university-anchored cities across the country. Each property celebrates and commemorates the optimistic energy of its community, while offering an extended retreat to places that often play host to the best days of our lives.

Graduate Fayetteville's design contrasts the natural beauty of the Ozark Mountain Region with the extraordinary creative energy that courses throughout Fayetteville. Upon entering the lobby, guests are welcomed by the reception desk, which takes on the identity of a vintage diorama, showcasing vintage taxidermy in a mountain scene backdrop. The museum-inspired entry is complemented by a large neon Graduate sign, further juxtaposing the artistic and natural influences found throughout the state. An expansive communal table with an eclectic mix of mismatched chairs sits beneath a statement crystal chandelier. Retro signs and natural wood floors with hand-painted patchwork designs establish the all- encompassing artistic soul felt throughout the lobby. Outside, a vibrant plaid mural on the building's facade gives the hotel an unmistakable collegiate identity for passersby.

Guest room decor builds upon the lobby's geographic inspiration, incorporating elements that pay tribute to University of Arkansas history, innovations and notable alumni. Custom headboards resemble the architecture of Old Main, the first building on the University of Arkansas campus, complete with bedside lamps that mirror Old Main's north and south towers. Dark wood nightstands with a reclaimed, vintage feel are given new life with handwritten notes that reference the university. Distinct textural elements are reflected throughout the space to create a constant state of discovery, including camouflage carpets, splatter-painted curtains and traditional floral prints. Beloved, familiar faces adorn the walls, with art referencing Arkansas-natives such as rocker Beth Ditto, actor Gil Gerard and aviation pioneer Louise Thaden.
