Hotel Marina, north of Copenhagen, is being modernized to improve its market position. 50 of 126 rooms have already been completed, offering higher quality to stayover guests.

A grand vision is under development at Hotel Marina and its surrounding harbor environment; a vision that hopes to make the area more connected as a single destination. The owners of Hotel Marina wants to revitalize the hotel, open it to the public, build new apartments, create a new market place outside, add more services available to the local neighborhood and business community, as well as softening the crossing to the beach and harbor. These plans, however, demand a large expansion of the district plan, which the municipality is now discussing.

Project scope

To become an attractive destination for both tourists and the surrounding business community again, Core Hospitality has begun a soft modernization of Hotel Marina in collaboration with the property owners. The project is already halfway complete with 50 modern rooms now available and the commencement of upgrading the common areas. The modernization includes, among other things, new carpets, new televisions, new chairs from Normann Copenhagen, new curtains, newly painted walls, an upgraded locking system on all doors to guest rooms, a new bar, new lounge furniture and the restoration of the terrace with beautiful flowers and plants.
