Grand Giza Boutique Hotel & Hostel
Grand Giza Boutique Hotel & Hostel, Giza’s first authentic lifestyle boutique hotel
Scheduled for Winter 2019 – 13 Rooms
Less than a five minute walk to the pyramids, guests can choose between two property experiences in one…the distinctive modern luxury styling of the manor house, or the laidback luxe style of the restored Italianate country villa, each with their own unique features including two rooftop lounge areas for t aking in the full expanse of the pyramids, united by the adjoining full verdant gardens with both Bedouin and cafe-style seating areas surrounding a restorative saltwater pool.
Fusing the past with today's amenities, the 13 guest rooms of Grand Giza's villa and manor house will be individually curated with distinctive styling, inspired by today's travelers who expect to be taken away by all their senses to another time and place. Each ensuite bathroom will feature Egyptian tiled walk-in rain showers, and suites will offer soaker clawfoot tubs. Deep sleep inspired beds richly laden with Egyptian cotton linens, pillows and artisan blankets, along with a selection of pillows from the pillow menu offer gorgeous respite after a weary day of sightseeing. Tiled floors with local handmade Kilim rugs give an authentic Egyptian luxury feel, while artwork and handmade pendant lanterns by Egytian artists will finish each room off.
Keeping in line with Grand Giz a's overall specialized offerings, guests of the hotel can expect surprising and playful touches like customized 'do not disturb' signs, room keys, clothes hangers and world traveler details throughout. Delightful discoveries like these will be found at unexpected turns - from unique antiques, a 1920s Egyptian era reading room chocked full of books and board games to encourage and make new friends with, the lobby's planned large vintage world map for guests to pin their home location with an old-style luggage tag, to even the hotel's gift shoppe, Cache - a curated collection of unique artisan wares from around Egypt.
Keeping with the owners' commitment to capture their love for the Egyptian culture in every step of it's design, renovations, and amenities, Grand Giza offers a unique, transformative experience for distinctive travelers seeking to discover more than just the pyramids and antiquities Egypt is famed for. Unique to the pyramid village area, Gr and Giza will offer guests a full rich calendar of art, culinary, and local culture Discovery Events, along with creative community gatherings and immersive workshops.
Grand Giza will also be home to a full restaurant, Blue Lotus, and a rooftop cafe, Bismallah. Blue Lotus' menu details will be available later this year and will feature Instagram-worthy creative takes on world cuisine as well as highlighting Egyptian fare. Bismallah, will feature handcrafted juice cocktails, coffee and tea offerings, along with an after-hours menu. Diners will have many options to take in their culinary treasures - one of the two rooftops under the stars, in the rich gardens, or while making new friends with other diners at the restaurant or cafe.
