Homewood Suites by Hilton, part of Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) All Suites portfolio, announced today the opening of its milestone 500th property, and its first hotel in the Caribbean, Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo. Designed for guests who want to travel on their own terms, Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic offers all the comforts of home, whether they are traveling for work or enjoying a well-earned getaway. The new hotel features 145 suites and complements the country's steady growth in visitors from North America*.

The 500th opening further cements Homewood Suites by Hilton's place as a leading brand in the extended-stay segment for more than three decades. The brand's growth is showing no signs of slowing down, currently boasting a robust pipeline of more than 100 hotels totaling more than 12,000 suites across the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Owned by Inversiones Robledo SAS and managed by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo welcomes guests with a beautiful view of the city from the sky lobby on the 12th floor. The contemporary designed hotel offers a combination of studio and one-bedroom accommodations, featuring fully-equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Guests are also provided all the essentials needed for a smart, reliable and convenient stay, including complimentary, daily full hot breakfast; evening social two days a week; Wi-Fi; and a grocery shopping service**. Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo makes it easy for travelers to unwind with a fitness center and a rooftop bar and pool area. The property also offers flexible meeting or event space that can accommodate up to 15 guests.

Located at Avenida Winston Churchill 107, Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo offers guests convenient access to downtown attractions. The hotel is walking distance from the Acrópolis Center and the upscale shopping district of Blue Mall. Guests can explore the fascinating Colonial Zone, stroll through Los Tres Ojos Park or take in the beauty of the Botanical Garden.

As part of Hilton's 2030 Goal to send zero soap to landfill and global partnership with Clean the World, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo property will be participating in the Clean the World soap recycling initiative. Through this program, hotels recycle discarded soap and bathroom amenity bottles to divert waste from landfill and enable Clean the World to create new bars of soap to distribute to those in need around the world, ultimately reducing hygiene-related deaths. This initiative is part of Travel with Purpose, Hilton's corporate responsibility strategy, and aligns with Hilton's 2030 Goals to cut our environmental footprint in half and double our investment in social impact.

The hotel is the latest example of expansion into the Caribbean and Latin America from the All Suites brands by Hilton, comprised of Embassy Suites by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton. Hilton currently has a portfolio of approximately 150 hotels and resorts open to welcome travelers in the Caribbean and Latin America, including more than 20 hotels in the Caribbean. In its 100th year, the company continues to pursue additional growth opportunities and currently has a robust pipeline of more than 90 hotels throughout the region, including nearly 20 projects in the Caribbean.
