The Doyle Collection is thrilled to officially relaunch The Dupont Circle hotel in Washington, D.C. with the completion of its Penthouse Suite by Clodagh. The space is available in two configurations with one bedroom or two bedrooms. When expanded into two-bedrooms, the suite is one of the largest in the city at 1,980 square feet. The heated outdoor terrace, which overlooks Dupont Circle and has views of the Washington Monument, adds an additional 590 square feet.

The Penthouse Suite is latest addition to The Doyle Collection's refresh of The Dupont Circle. A new lobby, also designed by Clodagh, opened this fall and Martin Brudnizki created a new bar, Doyle, and restaurant, The Pembroke, both of which debuted in early 2019. Paying homage to the building's 1950s beginnings, Bernie Gallagher, Chairman of The Doyle Collection, brought Clodagh and Martin together as their styles both embrace the mid-century aesthetic, with Brudnizki focusing on bold colors and varying textures and Clodagh incorporating holistic touches like live-edge wood and handwoven rugs.

The Penthouse Suite boasts a neutral palette with the period aesthetic accented by stylish details such as ribbed glass mirrors and brass. The fireplace, wet bar, dining table and lounge area make for a perfect intimate gathering. In addition to the Penthouse Suite, the remaining 13 suites on the rooftop floor have been refreshed, and they are some of the only suites in the city with private outdoor spaces.

Located on Dupont Circle, the bar and restaurant invite D.C.'s upscale crowd to enjoy brunch, after-work drinks and date nights indoors or al fresco. Clientele ranges from diplomats visiting the nearby embassies to well-heeled creatives to families checking out the capital's sights. Emulating the spirit of The Doyle Collection's other hotels in London, Dublin and Cork, the Dupont Circle serves as the neighborhood social hub, even more so now with its updated design credentials.
