Officials of Peachtree Hotel Group today announced the temporary transition of the Four Points by Sheraton Knoxville Cumberland House into the Cumberland House Knoxville while the hotel completes a $12 million, approximately six-month renovation to completely transform the hotel. Upon completion of the renovation in the early summer of 2020, the hotel will be rebranded as the Cumberland House Knoxville Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

The hotel's exterior will be reimagined completely to include a vintage marquee sign that sets the stage for a unique hotel experience. Upon check-in, guests will be greeted by the combined reception desk and lobby bar leading into an engaging social hub and gathering place. Guestrooms and public spaces will include rich textures and textiles layered on top of wood and metal accents that create an intriguing and moody ambiance. The hotel also will offer meeting spaces equipped with modern technology, state- of-the-art fitness center and a modern take on Appalachian-inspired food and beverage offerings.

Owned by Peachtree Hotel Group, Cumberland House Knoxville is managed and operated by Peachtree Hospitality Management, the management division of Peachtree Hotel Group. The hotel is located in downtown Knoxville at 1109 White Avenue, adjacent to the World's Fair Park and within walking distance to the Knoxville Convention Center, University of Tennessee, Neyland Stadium, Knoxville Museum of Art and the Tennessee River.
