The Beverly Hills Hotel has completed a comprehensive restoration and thoughtful redesign of 21 of its historic bungalows. Steeped in history as the preferred "home away from home" for generations of Hollywood royalty, the newly restored bungalows create a nostalgic and transporting experience for guests.

Out of the 21 bungalows there are distinct legendary bungalows featuring design elements inspired by select notable guests who have frequented the hotel over the past century. Bungalow 22, inspired by Frank Sinatra was finished in the summer of 2016. Bungalow 1, inspired by Marilyn Monroe and Bungalow 3 inspired by Howard Hughes were unveiled in January 2019; and Bungalow 9, inspired by Charlie Chaplin was completed in December 2019.

The eclectic and quirky persona behind frequent hotel guest Charlie Chaplin comes to life in Bungalow 9, which celebrates the world's most famous silent screen star. Combining classic design elements and subdued hues with character pieces and movie-palace architecture, an expressive collage of different materials and shapes are interwoven throughout each room. Quiet nods to the entertainer's English roots reveal themselves through the curation of elegant patterns. Wall-to-wall carpets add cohesion to the space, which includes an open kitchen that is ideal for entertaining.
