The iconic doors of the Conservatorium hotel on the Van Baerlestraat will open again on Wednesday 22 July at 10:00. The luxury lifestyle hotel is the first hotel within The Set Hotels Group to reopen, after being closed for a period due to corona measures. A Staycation Package has been put together and Executive Chef Schilo van Coevorden launches the Taiko Summer Edition, a menu with all the signature dishes by Taiko that guests have missed the most, served in the Brasserie and on the terrace of the Conservatorium hotel. With the opening of the hotel, the Akasha Spa also opens, where treatments and massage rooms can be booked and guests can fully relax.

Because a holiday close to home is preferred this summer, the Conservatorium hotel offers a luxurious Staycation Package. The package consists of an overnight stay in a Deluxe room with early check in and late check out, including breakfast. Located in the cultural heart of the city, guests can enjoy a luxurious and relaxing weekend away. Included in the package is € 50 hotel credit to spend on the Taiko Summer Edition or the Akasha Spa.

General Manager of the Conservatory hotel Roy Tomassen: "We are very happy to welcome our guests back to the familiar atmosphere of the hotel. With the Staycation Package, we hope to welcome more local guests and to offer a full pampering weekend. Everyone has passed, cycled or walked past our hotel, with this we would like to invite people to step inside for a cup of coffee, lunch, massage, but also a full overnight stay. "

Taiko Summer Edition

The Conservatory hotel has also been active in the culinary field. Before the reopening, Executive Chef Schilo van Coevorden launches an explosive but delicate menu, the Taiko Summer Edition. To fully enjoy the warm days and long evenings, Taiko presents the old time favorite miso black cod, a wagyu hamburger or grilled sea bass on the Josper. From the special sushi counter, the Hiramasa kingfish nigiri, soft shell crab rolls or Nam Jim oysters can be made by Taiko's sushi chef. Of course, you can also order summer cocktails from the Taiko Bar in the Brasserie or on the terrace in the hotel's courtyard.

Tag a friend with Veuve Clicquot

Guests can also enjoy a glass of champagne on the new Veuve Cliquot Terrace. Several of the label's champagnes are served here with small snacks. To celebrate the reopening of the hotel, guests can now temporarily tag a friend on one of the social media channels to also have a glass of champagne in the Veuve Clicquot Area. The champagnes are then offered per glass for € 19.50.
