Canopy by Hilton Says Hello to Grand Rapids
Now open – 155 Rooms
"We are thrilled to open our 23rd Canopy by Hilton property in historic Grand Rapids," said Harald Han, Director of Brand Management, Canopy by Hilton. "Bringing Canopy to Beer City USA has been an absolute delight as the hotel & restaurant are set to become a local staple for residents, and the perfect venue for travelers who want to explore the trend-setting beer, food, art and music scenes."
Locally Inspired Design
"We believe that Canopy adds another dimension to the thriving Grand Rapids market. It was important for us to share the history that our city was built upon through the design of the hotel. The Canopy property's unique artwork and mid-century modern design invite the neighborhood into the hotel and pay homage to the story of Grand Rapids. The food and beverage offerings are also unlike anything Grand Rapids has yet to experience." said Ann Kelly, Lodgco Hospitality CEO.
This Canopy by Hilton is uniquely designed as well as carefully curated to reinforce the history of the city and celebrate its furniture designers both past and present.
Eat. Drink. Smile.
Canopy Grand Rapids offers two restaurants. Portico is where guests can enjoy American fare from its hearthstone oven as well as Madcap coffee with made from scratch pastries. Knoop, Grand Rapids' largest rooftop restaurant, will offer small plates inspired by the Dutch and German heritage of the city. Enjoy their signature pretzels and craft cocktails on the outdoor terrace, while taking in the breathtaking downtown city view.
The hotel's restaurant staff has been trained by Proprietors LLC, the training arm of the renowned Death & Co. bar chain. This partnership allows the hotel to bring this world-class, cocktail-centric beverage program to our guests.
