Canopy by Hilton, Hilton's lifestyle hotel brand, will open its first Baltimore location this fall at 1215 Wills Street. Located at Wills Wharf in the heart of the Harbor Point neighborhood, the forthcoming hotel has recruited local experts to cultivate an authentic Charm City experience for travelers. A total of 156 guestrooms split across 24 room types, each offers floor to ceiling views of the city's skyline and waterfront, as well as convenient access to a range of exciting cultural attractions around the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Harbor East. Canopy will open with Hilton's CleanStay with Lysol Protection, its new standard of enhanced health, safety and cleanliness protocols.

Locally Inspired Design

Inspired by the industrial spirit and nautical history of Baltimore, Canopy will provide guests with safe and exciting ways to experience Baltimore's newest neighborhood with unique design, approachable service, and the inclusive local spirit that can only be found in Charm City. To explore the neighborhood, Canopy Bikes are accessible to guests upon availability and the hotel is steps away from Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, where guests can catch a beautiful ride on the Baltimore Water Taxi.


A new restaurant from renowned local restaurateurs Tony Foreman and Cindy Wolf of Foreman Wolf will open in line with city and state guidance for indoor and outdoor seating on October 15. The award-winning duo dreamed up a new idea complete with the best water views in Baltimore. The cooking, curated wine list and cocktail menu will make you want to live there.

The Canopy experience continues at Canopy Central, a place to relax and recharge among a variety of spacious and comfortable spaces on the hotel's ninth floor. There, guests can escape to an expansive terrace or get down to business with the hotel's state-of-the-art tech amenities. Guests will be greeted with a contactless check-in experience available through the Hilton Honors App. Throughout the duration of their stay, guests can expect a comfortable, minimal contact visit through Hilton's digital key program and smart technology.

Business travelers will find secure meeting spaces for up to 100. A boardroom, two dedicated meeting rooms, private restaurant space, and outdoor terrace will all provide comfortable, modern settings with innovative and adaptable technology.

With nearly 4,000 sq. ft of flexible meeting and event spaces, meeting spaces are available upon request and can host up to 25% capacity, per city guidelines. Canopy offers groups stunning choices for both indoor and outdoor entertainment. The public spaces double as galleries with original pieces curated from celebrated local artists. As health and safety guidance is updated over the coming months, groups will be able to utilize the spaces in myriad new ways, connecting people virtually and in-person across a range of scenarios.

Hilton CleanStay

Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor Point will open with Hilton's new CleanStay Program with Lysol Protection, to deliver an industry-defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection in Hilton properties across the world. The elevated processes and Team Member training has been developed with RB, maker of Lysol and Dettol, to help Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor Point guests enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay from check-in to check-out. New standards for Hilton CleanStay that have been rolled out include a Hilton CleanStay Room Seal to indicate that a room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, "knock and go" dropped-off room service, and flexible housekeeping options.
