  • W Hotels Worldwide, part of Marriott International, plans to open the highly anticipated W Nashville in the Gulch in early 2021, adding to the Brand's packed line-up of extraordinary new hotels across the United States and beyond. Hospitality industry and W Hotels veteran David Cronin has been named General Manager of W Nashville and will launch the vastly programmed and local-centric new concept immersed in music, culture and dining.

Located in the heart of the Gulch, W Nashville sits at a cultural junction of creativity where music, culinary, art and fashion converge. The hotel's design embraces the city's heritage and vibrant hospitality in a sophisticated yet unassuming way. W Nashville is set to introduce a new music venue to the scene, showcasing local talent and modern works by diverse, local artists. The property will activate the surrounding streetscape by positioning primary entrances, storefronts and seating on the exterior of the building, enhancing the walkability of the neighborhood and drawing guests and locals in for an energy-packed experience. Dining offerings will include local artisanal coffee shop Barista Parlor, a rooftop bar with 360-degree panoramic views of the area, as well as two restaurants overseen by award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini of NoHo Hospitality Group. Spanish steps connect the Living Room (the W Brand's take on the traditional hotel lobby) bar to an unprecedented 9,700 square foot WET Deck with a 2,000 square foot pool that will be the crown jewel of the hotel and provide an animated pool scene not to be missed. The hotel will offer 346 hotel rooms, including 60 suites and two Extreme Wow Suites (W's modern interpretation of the traditional Presidential Suite).
