Royal Mansour Marrakech is thrilled to announce a new era for the palatial all-riad property as a spa destination. Royal Mansour celebrates a decade as a peaceful respite with individual, three-story riads dotted along petal-pink walkways and scented by acres of orange blossoms. The hotel will debut a revitalized spa offering marked by three renowned skincare brands - Intraceuticals, Subtle Energies and Dr. Burgener Switzerland - each known for their innovative techniques, sustainable practices and results-driven treatments. Intraceuticals treatments launched on December 15, 2020 with Subtle Energies and Dr. Burgener Switzerland debuting in March and April 2021, respectively.

New Brand Partnerships

With an emphasis on natural ingredients in combination with clinical processes, Spa Royal Mansour united with three leading brands to enhance guests' physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, including Intraceuticals, which revolutionized the oxygen facial; the organic aromatherapy brand, Subtle Energies; and Dr. Burgener Switzerland, an expert in high-tech skin advancements. Guided by clinical research, the spa menu will focus on results-driven treatments without compromising the holistic, sensory experience. Spa Royal Mansour hand-selected a range of signature skincare treatments in collaboration with each brand to offer both personalized services and tailor-made results.

  • Intraceuticals: After years of research, the biochemistry team from Intraceuticals combined medical and cosmetic science to develop a revolutionary professional skin care brand. Now available at Spa Royal Mansour, the Australian skincare brand offers three customizable treatments based on their proprietary three-step hyaluronic layering method which uses therapeutic oxygen under pressure. Delivering a patented serum of hyaluronic acid, essential vitamins, botanicals, antioxidants and peptides, an Intraceuticals facial leaves the skin visibly hydrated, radiant and lifted after one treatment. Spa Royal Mansour offers the Rejuvenate Anti-Aging treatment to quench dry skin with intense hydration, as well as the Clarity Blemish Control Oxygen Treatment to clear oil build-up and irritation. The Opulence Brightening Treatment brightens and balances dull, uneven skin tone and minimize pigmentation - a favorite after long-haul flights. Additional Boosters, including collagen, vitamin C, vitamin A and antioxidants, are also available to personalize each treatment.
  • Subtle Energies: With over 25 years of clinical research, family-owned Australian brand Subtle Energies creates results-based aromatherapy, natural skincare and wellness solutions. Founded on authentic Ayurveda principles, the brand sources the highest grade of sustainably- and ethically-traded oils that are hand-blended following a secret family recipe. Using marma point therapy (vital energy centers that release stress and anxiety), lymphatics and kasa bowl techniques, signature treatments will include: the Blissful Marma Massage which increases circulation and blood flow to destress and detoxify; and the 24K Gold Age Defying Facial that renews and regenerates skin cells, effectively reducing fine lines and wrinkles. The Recovering Traveller will rebalance the body and assist with sleeping patterns and energy levels to combat jetlag and strengthen the immune system. Subtle Energies treatments will be available starting March 2021.
  • Dr. Burgener Switzerland: The leading skincare brand that combines natural active ingredients with the latest Swiss biotechnological practices will offer a range of body treatments to rejuvenate the skin beginning April 2021. Following a detailed skin diagnostic, the Spa Royal Mansour therapists will be able to advise and choose the treatments that fit your needs. Using ultrasound waves to address skin care on a cellular level, treatments include green caviar extracted from algae on Okinawa Island and combined with the antioxidant power of gold trace elements to repair and revamp the skin. A series of anti-aging treatments will also be available including the Swiss Anti-Aging Jewel, using honey sourced directly from hives in the Swiss Alps; Collagen Firming, a three-step process to boost the natural collagen and elastin production introducing a firmer, smoother and more uniform complexion; and the Chardonnay Grapes Antioxidant Scrub, an exfoliation using the grape seed extracts to combat free radicals damage and the environmental effects of aging.

Multi-Day Wellness Programs to Launch in Spring 2021

In addition to the new brand partnerships, Royal Mansour will also offer all-inclusive, multi-day wellness programs allowing guests to immerse themselves in a transformative experience. Available as three-, five-, seven- or 14-day retreats, guests can choose between four programs - Rebalance, Weight Control, Rejuvenation and Immunity boost - with the goal of improving both mental and physical health. The programs will launch in spring 2021.

New programs will also be rolled out in 2021 led by industry experts including osteopath and massage therapist Ana Mattos, holistic therapist Isaac Vidjrakou, Ayurvedic Aromatherapist Suraj Varma, Acupuncturist and massage therapist John Sanchez and celebrity Pilates trainer Hollie Grant.

A Sense of Place Remains

With a new global approach to wellness, a sense of place will remain through Royal Mansour's signature hammam treatments. Essential to the authentic Moroccan spa experience, the traditional purification ritual begins in a humid room on a slab of heated marble with a black soap scrub. This ritual, rich in symbolism, soothes, regenerates and reinvigorates the soul through the experience of profound relaxation. Scrubbed and massaged, cleansed and purified, the skin regains radiance and softness, and is ready to benefit from further treatments.

For a more tailored experience, bespoke hammam treatments are personalized to the specific skincare needs of each guest using Morocco's natural ingredients such as purifying clay from the Atlas Mountains, roses from the Kalaat Megouna Valley for a regenerating body wrap, and local saffron that is infused into the 'gourmet glow' wrap.

marocMaroc, a premium Moroccan brand with locally-sourced ingredients, along with products from the renowned Sisley brand - a leader in its fields using only the finest plant extracts and essential oils - are also used throughout the spa menu.

Accessed through a private citrus grove, the three-story, 27,000-square-foot spa is the crown jewel on property with an elaborate white birdcage atrium welcoming guests and locals alike. The design incorporates Moucharabieh, an element of traditional Arabic architecture that includes a window enclosed in carved wood latticework. In addition to ten treatment rooms and three spa suites, the Spa also features four private cabins for hair services complemented by Leonor Greyl products and a Pedi-Mani-Cure Studio overseen by internationally renowned podiatrist Bastien Gonzalez. Rounding out the spa facilities is an onsite gym with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment and access to a personal trainer, an indoor heated pool with vaulted glass ceilings and La Table du Spa, which offers a healthy and refreshing menu using herbs from the property's gardens.
