A new IntercityHotel offering 115 guest rooms is set to open in the Dutch city of Leiden in 2023. Steeped in culture and located in the Province of South Holland in the West of the country, Deutsche Hospitality's latest expansion of its portfolio will in future offer both business and leisure travellers an attractive destination close to Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam.

As usual, the IntercityHotel Leiden will occupy a central site within walking distance of the old area of the city and will also be situated at the very heart of a new quarter being created around Leiden Central Station. It will provide 115 rooms, a restaurant, a BistroLounge and a lobby. Like at all new generation IntercityHotels, interior design will be by the Italian architect Matteo Thun. The hotel will form part of a new build development called Octagon and will be operated via a lease agreement agreed between STAG Hotels Netherlands B.V. and the project developer Synchroon B.V.
