Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley has revealed a first look into their all new accommodation offering as part of the hotel and resorts stunning transformation. Unveiled in February 2021, the multi-million-dollar transformation shows the first of the resort and spa's 75 guestrooms, now re-imagined with light-filled and modern interiors.

Known for its iconic river, colonial heritage and picturesque countryside, the Hawkesbury has become one of Sydney's most idyllic destinations for businesses, families and romantics alike. Coined as the Hawkesbury's 'Crown Jewel', Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley now welcomes guests into an all new, premium accommodation experience to enjoy the best of the Hawkesbury in style.

Design concept

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding region, Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley's new guest rooms pay homage to its historic roots with elegant archways and smooth natural timber finishes exuding a heritage inspired look. With the accompaniment of in room Chrome Cast technology, eco low consumption LED lighting, ergonomic open plan wardrobes and a sense of fresh, uninterrupted space.

True to Crowne Plaza's DNA, each of the guest rooms has been designed to offer maximum flexibility and restoration. Distinct zoning caters to the blended lifestyles of guests, with unrivalled connectivity, dedicated work and relaxation areas and Crowne Plaza's Sleep Advantage program for a sensational night's sleep.

Andres Coll, Senior Associate from design company Stack, says "From the beginning, we knew that acknowledging and engaging the heritage aspect of the building was important - it shows character, class and history, 3 things we did not want to lose in this refurbishment. At the same time we agreed each room must embody a getaway from the city environment that feels lighter, modern and 'instagramable' the moment you walk inside. The use of natural materials, soft colour palates and long LED lighting really helped us achieve this, along with the sophistication of the in room technology and its ergonomic layout.

Abundance for Weekend Warriors & Holiday Seekers

Hotel guests can expect an array of choice when selecting their accommodation at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley. From the well-presented Standard Queen Room with TV, modern ensuite, queen bed and open wardrobe all the way up to an extravagant Deluxe Balcony Suite with king sized bed, contemporary bath and views to the Blue Mountains, there is no shortage of comfort or class. Offering 8 room types in total, Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley provides couples, families and groups with a wide variety of accommodation options to suit their needs.

When the time comes to leave the haven, the choices don't stop there. With 3 onsite dinning outlets including the hotels signature Harvest Restaurant, Gazebo Restaurant and Harvest Bar, every craving from breakfast to dessert can be satisfied.

With the fourth and final stage of the 105-room hotel scheduled to be completed by April 2021, the 18 month multimillion dollar refurbishment is sure to raise eyebrows for leisure travellers and corporates seeking a tranquil destination to relax and recharge.

A Hit for Conferencing & Events

As one of regional NSW leading conferencing and events venues, leisure guests are not the only ones to benefit from the new fit out. In addition to the attraction of their unique indoor and outdoor function spaces, corporate and event guests now get the 'full package' with premium finished guest rooms including the option of twin queen configurations ideal for corporate accommodation. From what was once a modest regional conferencing venue, Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valleys' re-imagination of what makes regional conferencing desirable now raises the bar to new heights with a refurbished product that fits seamlessly into its breathtaking property.

Whilst Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valleys room refurbishment has taken centre stage, a number of other projects including the refurbishment of Villa Thalgo Day Spa and the hotels public guest bathrooms have also taken place. All this adds to the new look and feel of what now might be considered an unparalleled destination experience in the heart of the Hawkesbury.
