HarbourView Inn, an intimate waterfront retreat in Charleston's Historic District, today unveils a $1 million interior refresh designed by notable South Carolina-based interior designer, Jenny Keenan.

A former 1930s indigo cotton warehouse, HarbourView Inn was the first waterfront hotel in the Historic District, and this refresh embodies the modern Charleston of today. The newly appointed guestrooms offer travelers an unforgettable sense of place with local touchpoints seen throughout, including:

  • Teal armoires in collaboration with Adam Kershaw Painting and Decorating
  • Fabricated custom drapery from Threadhouse Inc.
  • Carpets from Fine Rugs of Charleston
  • Original, hand-charcoal drawings commissioned by local artist, David Boatwright, which are unique to each guest room and depict iconic landmarks in the greater Charleston area

The property refresh also includes a refurbishment of HarbourView Inn's highly popular rooftop terrace, the only remaining private rooftop in the Historic District. Guests are invited to lounge on custom outdoor furniture while enjoying complimentary wine and cheese hour and taking in the surrounding picturesque views of downtown Charleston, Waterfront Park and the historic harbor.
