Kimpton St Honoré Paris, the first opening in France for IHG Hotels & Resorts' luxury boutique brand, has officially opened its doors bringing creative flair and heartfelt service to a 1917 Art Nouveau building. The new hotel is located in the Opera district, a stone's throw from Place Vendôme, the Paris Opera, Faubourg St Honoré & the Tuileries Gardens.

The former 1900s "Samaritaine de Luxe" department store has been thoughtfully transformed into a sophisticated, easy-going luxury space by French architect and interior designer Charles Zana. Influenced by the 1930s Art Deco scene, the 123 stylish guest rooms and 26 beautifully designed Suites are inspired by Parisian apartments with balconies, floor to ceiling windows and carefully selected works of art adding a splash of Kimpton's bold design and Parisian chic to the hotel's interiors. The building's striking original staircase and wooden elevator have been restored as standout features of the hotel.

Thanks to Kimpton's innovative approach to restaurants and bars, and the brand's focus on driving heartfelt human connections, Kimpton St Honoré Paris will breathe new life into the capital's social and dining scene.

On the ground floor of the hotel is Montecito Restaurant & Bar with interiors by Humbert & Poyet, impeccably friendly service and a light-filled interior patio. Montecito offers a contemporary take on a relaxed brasserie influenced by the multicultural cuisine of America's Pacific West Coast. Lush greenery and casual-chic colourful plates made with locally sourced ingredients combine Californian flair and French indulgence. Signature dishes include fish tacos, crunchy langoustine tostada, beef asada, cobb salad or gourmet truffle pizzetta. For breakfast or brunch, Acai Bowls and pancakes are best enjoyed along expertly brewed coffee.

The hotel's casual luxury 10th floor rooftop bar and garden, Sequoia, designed by Charles Zana, offers 360° views over the rooftops of Paris and its emblematic monuments such as the Eiffel Tower and Opéra Garnier. Sequoia exudes easy sophistication and relaxed chic in a spot where guests can experience a hand-picked menu of wine and champagne or choose from the signature Mai Tai cocktail.
