In the heart of the Bavarian capital, the second hotel of the Ruby Group has opened: the Ruby Rosi, with 101 rooms, a 24/7 bar, as well as a 260 sqm roof terrace, which is located right next to the main station.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall" is the motto at Ruby Rosi, the latest design hotel of the Munich group and its founder and CEO Michael Struck. The 101 rooms are spread over three floors of a former 1950s office building with a total area of 4,100 square metres.

Rosi was inspired by an iconic Munich figure, Bally Prell: singer and 'the beauty queen of Schneizlreuth' and her Isar fairytale. The combination of stately castles and rustic village life, typical of traditional fairy tales, is evident in the public areas on the fourth floor, where the 24/7 bar is located, in every hidden nook and cranny. Luxurious materials and hand-picked vintage furnishings skillfully complement the wooden timbering and mediaeval style to create a unique Bavarian fairytale world.

The second Munich hotel also follows Ruby's Lean Luxury philosophy: a location in the heart of the city, top design, high-quality furnishings, and affordability, by removing superfluous non-essentials. In Rosi's rooms, the trademark elements are the open vanity and glass rain shower; lots of fresh white and cherry wood wall panelling; and extra charm with the addition of a canopy above the bed.

Another highlight is the 260-square-foot roof terrace on the fifth floor, which was newly added on top of the existing floors and offers a unique green oasis in the middle of the station district. Ruby's endeavour to integrate its buildings into the neighbourhood is clearly evident here: the bar and roof terrace are open to all Munich residents, and events and readings with local artists are held regularly.

Located in the immediate vicinity of Munich's train station district, Ruby Rosi boasts a convenient location, perfectly connected to public transport. Munich Airport can be reached by S-Bahn in 40 minutes direct, whilst sights such as the Old Town and the famous Frauenkirche, the Marienplatz, the Viktualienmarkt and Oktoberfest are within walking distance.

Five room categories are available to Ruby guests at Rosi, from the friendly NEST Room with approx. 12 sqm; COSY Rooms with approx. 15 sqm; and LOVELY Rooms, perfect for two over the weekend, at approx. 18 sqm; as well as WOW Rooms with up to 26 sqm; and the particularly spacious LOFT Rooms with up to 30 sqm. On average, room rates range from €129 - 159 euros/night.

The Resident Manager of the hotel will be Philipp Wetterauer, who holds previous experience as Head of Service from Rosi's sister hotel, Ruby Lilly. Philipp will be responsible for Ruby Rosi at Bayerstrasse 21 with immediate effect.
