De Vere Latimer Estate, located near Chesham in Buckinghamshire, part of De Vere's collection of country estate hotels, has today unveiled the results of a refurbishment to its contemporary standalone events centre, The Mews.

The work has seen the Mews lobby transformed and 23 bedrooms and ensuites refurbished and re-styled to bring them in line with De Vere's distinctly British aesthetic. Each bedroom blends a heritage colour palette of muted greens, taupe, and cream with tan accents throughout and complete with luxurious facilities including high quality toiletries and smart TVs.

The Mews, which is flooded with natural light thanks to a striking double height glass atrium, has also seen its lobby transformed to provide a stylish, flexible and ergonomic space where delegates can work in between meeting and events.

Set in the heart of Buckinghamshire, De Vere Latimer Estate was once the headquarters of one of the most successful intelligence operations in World War II and now offers 21st-century comfort and style within 30 acres of grounds in an area steeped in natural beauty. The property offers 27 flexible spaces for conferences, meetings, training and teambuilding across three distinctly different spaces, each with its own dedicated entrance and parking.

Guests can explore the Chess Valley Walk on the hotel's doorstep to discover a wealth of wildlife, historic buildings, water meadows and nature reserves. Afterwards, guests can head back to the hotel where they can opt for some R&R in the pool, sauna and steam room or, enjoy a board game in The Library - a secluded spot ideal for relaxing with a drink in hand or indulging in a delicious afternoon tea.
