Serving as an idyllic coastal getaway, the newly renovated Bluebird Ocean Point Inn is slated to open to the public June 2023.

The reimagined seaside hotel's interiors are designed by Elder & Ash. Neutral tones paired with light wood create an airy and communal ambience as the Inn takes inspiration from generations of summers on the coast of Maine. Bluebird Ocean Point Inn's laid-back atmosphere welcomes all types of travelers, from families and solo travelers to couples and groups - offering a variety of accommodations including king and double queen rooms in the nine cottages, as well as suites and multi-bedroom suites. Updated with plush beds, thoughtful storage, and peaceful nooks, the 61 total rooms combine the modern comforts of home with the thrill of the new. Accessible rooms will also be available.

Extending guests with another moment to create summer memories and new traditions, the Ocean Point Kitchen and OPK Bar will boast Maine's most commanding oceanfront restaurant views. After a day of adventure, families and friends can come together to enjoy fresh, locally-sourced seafood, seasonal produce, and signature crafted handhelds.

Located in Boothbay Harbor's Ocean Point community overlooking Card Cove, Bluebird Ocean Point Inn pays homage to Maine's close-knit cottage culture. The Boothbay region, known as New England's boating capital, is the perfect homebase to experience the natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and nearby islands of Maine's coast. With a rich maritime heritage in boatbuilding, Boothbay Harbor has historically been a gathering place for sailors, fishermen, and explorers, infusing the town with an inviting spirit and independent charm.
