Pierre Yves Bonin Floret has been appointed General Manager of Casa Velas Hotel Boutique in Puerto Vallarta. He joins Velas Resorts from Dreams Villa Magna in Riviera Nayarit where he was Manager. Previously, he was General Manager of the Hacienda Hotel, Spa and Beach Club and Resident Manager of Summit Hotel’s Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Spa, both in Puerto Vallarta. His distinguished background also includes positions at leading restaurants in Mexico’s major resort areas, France and Tahiti and also as Executive Chef of Club Med in Cancun. He is a graduate of the Hotel School of Monterey, Mexico and also studied at the Simone Weil Hotel School in Dijon, France.
