Shannon Reid has been appointed EMEA marketing director at Preferred Hotels & Resorts

Preferred Hotel Group has recruited Shannon Reid as EMEA marketing director as it continues to expand its portfolio of properties. Replacing Chris Fradin, who becomes UK and Ireland regional director, Reid joined the group from Hilton Hotels, where she led a number of initiatives to improve performance within the meetings and conference sector. Preferred Hotel Group recently announced the opening of a £3.6m conference and events centre at the Tivoli Lisboa, in Portugal. The development has doubled the number of meeting rooms at the property to 14, with a capacity of 325 seated delegates.
