Gerhart most recently served as director of catering for the Wyndham Hotel Chicago. Prior to relocating to Chicago, she worked in Sante Fe, New Mexico at the unique La Posada de Sante Fe as director of catering and conference services. Her career has also included roles in event planning and catering for the Beach Chalet & Brewery and the Majestic Hotel, both in San Francisco, California. In her role with Doubletree Chicago Magnificent Mile, Gerhart oversees an expert team in convention services, wedding/social events and small meetings. The property offers 16,000 square feet of stylish new meeting space, in 13 event spaces. Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Gerhart studied art history at the University of New Mexico. She currently resides in the Old Town neighborhood in downtown Chicago. When she’s not on the job, you’ll find Gerhart enjoying the city’s dynamic music scene or along the Lake Michigan lakefront.
