Anibal FlechaAnibal Flecha will report directly to Paul Frederick, director- global safety and security, Hilton Worldwide, and will be based out of the Miami Regional Office. Flecha most recently served as loss prevention safety and security director, at the 174 room Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach & Golf Resort in Dorado Puerto Rico. Flecha has over 18 years of hospitality experience; he joined Hilton Worldwide in 1998 as night auditor at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Casino in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Since then, he has held various operational roles at the company including night hotel manager and guest services and front office director throughout various resort destinations in Puerto Rico. In 2008, Flecha joined the Task Force Security team to assist with the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport. He was also in charge of presenting the Loss Prevention Profile to the formerly LXR hotels in Puerto Rico, now part of Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio. Flecha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Management and minor in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He has participated in several Hilton management programs such as Today’s New Manager, Basic Principles of a Collaborative Workplace and Revenue Management t Systems. Flecha has been certified with numerous loss prevention qualifications such as Lodging Security Director by the American Hotel & Lodging Association, as part of the Community Emergency Response Team, Forecast Management Systems, Pool Operator and Principles of OSHA and as Advanced Interviewer Interrogator by the John E. Reid & Associates Inc. He is also a member of the Puerto Rico Tourism Association Security Committee and Leader of de CERT Community Emergency Response Team of the community of Dorado del Mar in Puerto Rico.
