W. Laird Hamberlin has been appointed President at Onity
Onity announced today the appointment of W. Laird Hamberlin to the position of President. Onity, one of the world’s leading providers of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). Laird will be based at the Onity world headquarters in Duluth, GA. Prior to joining Onity, Laird served as Vice President, Global Accounts for Tyco Fire & Security, a worldwide provider of fire and security products and services. Over the last nine years at Tyco he has held positions in sales, operations, business development and general management. Laird holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Delta State University and is certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
