Olivier Dupont has been appointed Vice President, European Development at Choice Hotels International, Inc.
In this new position, Dupont will focus on building and strengthening our business relationships and revenue opportunities with current and potential franchisees, hotel developers, and investors throughout the continent of Europe. Dupont reports to Senior Vice President of Global Development David Pepper. Dupont comes to Choice with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry in a wide range of roles from property-level operations to franchise services to franchise development. Most recently, Dupont served as senior vice president, international development for Wyndham Worldwide, where he led international development in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Indian sub-continent. Prior to joining Wyndham, Olivier was a director of international development for Marriott International and worked in franchise services for Intercontinental Hotels. He also served as a general manager at a number of properties. Olivier holds a degree in advanced hotel management from Witwatersrand Hotel School in Johannesburg, South Africa.
