Michael E. YonkerA 27-year Marriott veteran, Yonker began his career in 1983 at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort in Chicago, Ill. as an assistant controller. He progressed to director of finance at the Richmond Marriott in Virginia and was soon after promoted to director of administrative services. In 1992, Yonker served as the market director of human resources at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare and eventually took on the role of area director of human resources for the Mid-Central region for Marriott Management Corporate Services. From 1998 to 2007, Yonker served as regional vice president of human resources for Marriott’s North America Lodging Midwest, Central and Canada regions. In his most recent role as vice president of human resources for Marriott Vacation Club International, Yonker supported the global operations for the division and played a key role in the recent repositioning of the business Yonker holds his bachelor's degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. and his master’s degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Ariz. Yonker along with his wife Jennifer and their family currently reside in Cocoa Beach, Fla.
