Mr Vincent HoogewijsFour Seasons Hotel Sydney has welcomed its third ever General Manager, Mr Vincent Hoogewijs. Mr Hoogewijs joins the hotel following his previous role as General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, which he successfully opened in early 2009 and managed for the past two years. His appointment follows the retirement of former General Manager and Sydney hotel icon, Stephen Lewis, who served 16 years in the top job and 41 years in the hospitality industry. Belgian born, Mr Hoogewijs’ hospitality career has taken on a very international flavour, having worked in 13 countries to date. His Four Seasons tenure began in 2004 as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok before being promoted to General Manager at Four Seasons Mexico and most recently Four Seasons Mumbai. Mr Hoogewijs said: “As the largest property in the Four Seasons group, Sydney will present a wonderful new challenge.
