Rich Carlson has been appointed Senior Vice President, Lodging Development at RLH Corporation
Richard P. Carlson has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Lodging Development, from Vice President, Lodging Development. In addition to signing three new franchises for Red Lion Hotels, Carlson has built an experienced development team and shaped the brand standards for franchising. The company is focused on expanding through franchising in 11 Western States and one Canadian Province, where the brand has significant equity dating back to 1959. Carlson has a broad 20 year record of franchise, development and capital investment experience, with an emphasis on the Western states where Red Lion is concentrating its franchising efforts. Most recently, he was Vice President at Summit Capital and Vice President of Lodging Development for Marriott International.
