Cynthia CarpenteriBAHN, the global leader in IP television and broadband wireless solutions for the hospitality, convention and meeting industries, announced today the appointment of Cynthia Carpenter as vice president marketing, Americas. She joins the company immediately, and will be based in Denver at the Americas regional headquarters office. Carpenter joins iBAHN following a two-year stint as chief marketing officer at Single Pipe Communications, which was purchased by Integrated Broadband Services (IBBS) in Atlanta, Georgia. Her accomplishments at SinglePipe include growing the incumbent customer base by 170%, which successfully positioned the company for acquisition by IBBS. She is one of 2011’s Women of the Year, an honor bestowed by the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Rocky Mountain organization. Previous positions include building a successful consultancy that focused on bringing new technologies and new companies to market. Carpenter spent nearly four years at Level 3 Communications, serving as vice president, business operations and marketing, where her segment marketing strategy helped produce CAGR of over 200%.
