Walter I. “Wally” Boudry joined Cornell | Nolan School of Hotel Administration as assistant professor in finance
With the start of the 2011-2012 academic year, the School of Hotel Administration will welcome new faculty members. All appointments are effective July 1. Walter I. “Wally” Boudry will join the school as assistant professor in finance. Boudry earned two bachelor’s degrees—in commerce and in economics—from the University of Queensland, Australia, and received his PhD from the Stern School of Business at NYU in 2006. His research has been published in Real Estate Economics and the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting. A regular presenter at meetings of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA), he won third place for the 2007 AREUEA Dissertation Award.
