Gino Tan Mr. Tan, a Singapore citizen by birth, is a graduate of the University of London with BSC in Economics (Hons), a member of the Cornell General Manager alumni and a key member of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in China. His global path has instilled an unparalleled open mind and great sensitivity in the countries he had worked in. Mr. Tan is fluent in English, Chinese, Malay and many various Chinese dialects. Prior to joining the Grand Millennium Beijing, Mr. Tan was the General Manager of New World Dalian Hotel, which under his leadership had transformed the hotel’s performance in a span of a year and a half to one of the top hotels in the city. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Tan was the Resident Manager of Raffles Hotel Singapore. His vast 20 years of hospitality experience with a strong hospitality marketing background, included supporting and overseeing the IOC Executive Committee during the memorable Beijing Olympic Beijing 2008 as Resident Manager of Raffles Beijing Hotel; witness the IMF World Bank Meetings, IOC 117th Session whilst he was EAM Marketing of Raffles Hotel and had contributed to the hotel’s achievement in obtaining the highest RevPar as well as winning many overseas accolades during his tenure.
