Kristin TaylorIn her new role, Taylor joins the ANA executive committee and will lead the company’s real estate, development, asset management and technical services departments. Taylor will continue ANA’s commitment to property excellence by leading priorities and initiatives related to property renovation, capital expenditure management, property maintenance, ADA compliance and energy reduction. Taylor began with ANA in 1998 as manager of real estate and development, was promoted to director in 2002, named vice president in 2006, and senior vice president in 2010. Taylor has been instrumental in several company initiatives including the transition of company-owned locations to franchises and ensuring the best representation of the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands in each market through a comprehensive market screening process. Taylor was also involved in the development of Motel 6’s “Phoenix” prototype and the brand’s first LEED-certified property in Northlake, Texas. Taylor earned a bachelor of science in business administration degree in finance and banking from the University of Arkansas. Taylor is a certified public accountant; serves on the City of Carrollton’s Planning and Zoning Commission as chairman and is a member of the American Planning Association.
