At Hotel Sofitel So Bangkok in Bankok, Thailand

Gilles CretallazA French national with many years of experience with the Accor hotel group, Gilles began his distinguished career in the early 1990’s at Sofitel properties in French Polynesia, and was later Resident Manager at the Novotel Turquoise in Turkey. His first role as General Manager was in Indonesia, where he spent six years and achieved the position of Regional General Manager based in Bali. Subsequently he has held top executive positions at the Novotel Atlantis Shanghai, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, and Sofitel Bangkok Silom. Immediately prior to moving to Sofitel So Bangkok he was responsible for the rebranding of Sofitel the Grand Amsterdam as a Sofitel Legend hotel.

Jérôme Chautard - Executive Sous Chef

18 January 2012 — Chef Jérôme was born and brought up in Bourg en Bresse, near the city of Lyon, whose residents adhere to the belief in not wasting any part of the ingredients they use in their cooking. It’s a philosophy that he has also remained true to, using only top quality ingredients as well as traditional methods of cooking, so that diners not only experience true French cuisine, but the casualness and warmth of eating at a relative’s house.

Barthélemy Bauters - Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

27 October 2011 — After finishing his studies in his native France, Barthelemy Bauters began his hotel career in 2005 with the opening of Sofitel Queenstown, New Zealand. Remaining with the Accor group, he moved from New Zealand to join the opening team of Sofitel Wanda Beijing, China, during the Olympic Games year, and later to Sofitel Moorea Beach Resort, French Polynesia, as Maitre d’hotel.

Nicolas A. Vienne - Executive Chef

27 October 2011 — With more than 10 years’ professional experience in cooking and kitchen management, Nicolas A. Vienne is a multi-award winning chef. He began his career at the prestigious Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris and subsequently broadened his early training at Plaza Athenee Hotel and Alain Ducasse Restaurant, both in the French capital and both with three Michelin stars.
