Kay Harrison-Mann has been appointed General Manager at Macdonald Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh
Her move to the 156 en-suite bedroom hotel within Scotland’s historic Old Town is the latest significant career move by the Birmingham raised hospitality professional, who for over a decade has been an employee of Macdonald Hotels, the UK’s largest privately owned hotel group. Prior to taking up her new role at Macdonald Holyrood, located just 100 metres from the new Scottish Parliament building, Harrison-Mann spent eight years as regional general manager of the four-star Macdonald Old England Hotel and Spa in the Lake District, where she was nominated by the AA for hotel manager of the year in the 2009 UK Hospitality (CATEY) Awards.
