David Sparrow has been appointed Vice President Sales at Kempinski Hotels
As Vice President Sales, David Sparrow will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, and will report directly to Duncan O'Rourke, Kempinski's Chief Operating Officer. David Sparrow's career began in 1985 with the Crest Hotels Group as a Graduate Trainee following a B.A. (Hons) Degree in Business Studies and Marketing at Oxford Brookes University, leaving in 1990 as Regional Sales Manager. From 1990 to 2005, he gained considerable experience in various Sales positions at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, lastly as Director of Global Sales - UK, Ireland and Southern Europe prior to becoming Director of International Sales at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, where he was initially responsible for the creation and management of Jumeirah’s Global Sales structure. Before joining Kempinski Hotels he was Director of Sales & Marketing – Europe at Jumeirah which included responsibility for the Global Sales Offices in London, Frankfurt, Moscow and Paris.
