For Dwayne Bowes, the newly appointed Director of Sales at the Residence Inn Fort Myers Sanibel, one of the newest hotels near Sanibel Island, the sun isn't the only thing this Brooklyn, NY native loves about his Florida home. "Fort Myers is a beautiful area with great businesses, beaches and a focus on eco-tourism," he says. "I am up to the challenge to bring new business to our property, show community support and continue to provide legendary customer service to all guests." Bowes' superb service skills were honed over 9 years in the hospitality field, starting as a front desk associate in Melbourne, FL and moving on to be a front desk manager just a year later. He quickly worked his way up to general manager, and for the last 2 years served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a hotel management company before recently joining the team at the Residence Inn Fort Myers Sanibel.
