Danette OpaczewskiDenihan Hospitality Group, a full-service hotel management and development company that owns and operates boutique hotels in major urban markets in the U.S., today announced that Danette Opaczewski has been promoted to executive vice president, operations, effective immediately. She reports directly to David Duncan, president of Denihan. In her new role, Opaczewski is responsible for delivering optimal operational and financial performance across Denihan’s portfolio, including the oversight of hotel operating budgets, forecasts and capital expenditures, and associate and guest satisfaction metrics. Opaczewski has over 20 years of experience in hospitality and finance, having held senior level positions in hotel and restaurant acquisition, operations, accounting and finance for a variety of hotel groups and individual properties, including Morgans Hotel Group, Ian Schrager Hotels, The Royalton, Morgans, The Cornell Club (New York) and Doral Hotels. Immediately prior to joining Denihan as SVP, asset management in 2008, Opaczewski spent three years as CFO for The James, where she executed its brand-building strategy and was instrumental in several strategic transactions.
