André WitschiAndré Witschi began his career with the Mövenpick Group where he held various positions. He then moved to the Accor Group in 1991 as Director of Ibis for Austria, Germany, Poland, Italy and Southern France. In 1996, he was awarded the Prize for Hotelier of the Year in Germany. André Witschi took over as European Director of Accor Hotellerie Economique in 1999 before becoming Chairman of the Management Board of Accor Hotellerie Deutschland GmbH from 2003. In 2008, he was appointed President of the Management Board of Steigenberger Hotels AG, a position he occupied until the group was sold in 2009.
