Janice Snowden has been appointed Area Director of Sales & Marketing at The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles
Edward A. Mady, regional director, West Coast, USA for Dorchester Collection and general manager of The Beverly Hills Hotel, has named hospitality executive Janice Snowden as area director of sales and marketing for The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air . In this role, Snowden assumes leadership responsibility for properties' leisure, group and catering sales, as well as advertising, public relations, e-commerce, revenue management and social media programs. Prior to this, Snowden was the director of marketing for Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, where she directed property marketing for four years and led a sales and marketing staff of 20. Active with the Santa Barbara Conference & Visitors Bureau and with the city's Film Commission and Marketing Committee, Snowden earlier led sales and marketing efforts for The Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, California, and for upscale properties both in Washington, D.C. and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management.
