Nick CampbellNick started his career as Trainee Manager at the Posthouse Leeds/Bradford and quickly established himself within the Forte Group, holding down General Manager positions at a number of the group’s hotels around the UK over a 20 year period. This included time spent as Regional General Manager of four Posthouse hotels (Basingstoke, High Wycombe, Reading and Swindon). Nick then joined Moat House Hotels UK in 1999 as General Manager of the Elstree Moat House, Boreham Wood before taking charge of the Holiday Inn, Reading. In 2002, Nick was appointed General Manager of the Holiday Inn, London’s Regent Park, where he spent four years. Nick’s most recent position as the General Manager of the Crowne Plaza London Heathrow, is a role in which he spent six successful years. During his time at the hotel, Nick achieved impressive financial returns for the property, maintained above fair share in RGI, successfully changed the business mix and rate strategy, achieved a significant increase in guest satisfaction scores, and oversaw a significant investment within the property. Under Nick’s guidance, the hotel was also the top performer on the Priority Club rewards programme for Crowne Plaza.
