Charlie Sheil has been appointed General Manager at The Marker Hotel in Dublin
Sheil was previously general manager of The Gibson Hotel in Dublin and the Clarion Hotel in Co Cork, overseeing the opening of both. He also has experience over the past 20 years working in France, Switzerland, Ireland, the UK and New York, where he spent time at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and Towers. The Marker, which will be part of the Leading Hotels of the World family, features a ground floor bar and restaurant as its centre-piece. It has 187 guest rooms over six floors above as well as 84 two-bedroom residential apartments that will have full access to the amenities of the hotel, including the spa and swimming pool. The Marker will be operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts and aims to appeal to both the business and leisure segments of the domestic and international markets.
