Marianna TangCapitalising on over 20 years’ experience in the tourism and hospitality industries, Marianna oversees management of Auberge Discovery Bay’s sales and marketing operations. A graduate of the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Marianna first gained insight into the regional travel scene while working at British Caledonian Airways and later Swissair. After turning her focus to hotel management, Marianna held leading sales positions with Harbour Plaza Hotels and Resorts and The Sherwood Taipei. Prior to joining Auberge Discovery Bay, Marianna was Director, Global Sales North Asia for the Pan Pacific Hotels Group where she played an integral role in increasing occupancy and room revenue in the region. Familiar with hotel launches, Marianna was involved in the opening of Hong Kong’s five-star The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, as well as The Harbour Plaza Hong Kong.
