Radu CerniaOriginally from Romania, Cernia graduated from the Business and Commercial Institute. With an international career spanning more than 15 years, he has held variety of managerial positions at The Ritz-Carlton Hotels and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts in several countries including Japan, Indonesia, the US and the United Arab Emirates. Cernia joined The Ritz-Carlton Company in 1998, and prior to taking on his new role, he held the position of executive assistant manager, culinary/food and beverage of The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, where he led a team of 120 managing nine outlets and delivered a successful business growth model. He was recognized as an outstanding leader in many Ritz-Carlton Hotels he has worked for, and he was also the member of The Ritz-Carlton Advisory Board for Food and Beverage in Southeast Asia from 2007 to 2010.
