Taneja is an alumnus of Delhi University, with a Bachelor of Commerce and a degree from the Institute of Hotel Management, Delhi. Associated with The Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) for over the last two decades, his portfolio includes Catering Manager, Taj Mahal Hotel; F&B Manager, Taj Palace Hotel, Taj Bengal; and Resident Manger, Taj Mahal Hotel. During his career in the hospitality sector, he has been at the helm of affairs across strategic planning, finance, human resource development, and relationship management, a release stated.
