Larry Daniels

Larry Daniels, general manager of HRI Lodging’s Hyatt French Quarter property, has been promoted to vice president/general manager of HRI Lodging, announced Gary Gutierrez, president of the company.

In his new role, Daniels will have direct oversight of the Carey Watermark Investors-owned assets managed by HRI Lodging. Those properties include Hyatt French Quarter, Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter/CBD, Hilton Garden Inn Baton Rouge, and Hampton Inn & Suites Legacy Park-Frisco.

Daniels has worked with HRI Lodging since September 2011 as general manager of the Chateau Bourbon, which underwent an $18 million renovation and change of flag to the Hyatt French Quarter Hotel. Daniels led the operations team through the renovation and award-winning Hyatt conversion while transitioning the Hyatt French Quarter into one of the most recognized hotels in New Orleans.

Prior to joining HRI Lodging, Daniels worked with Hyatt for more than 30 years. He was the general manager for several hotels under the Hyatt Regency flag, including the Hyatt Regency DFW, Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, and Hyatt Regency Cherry Hill.
