Gary CollinsGary Collins brings over 20 years of experience in sales to the high performing team at Silverado, and his driven track record has garnered high volume business to the hotels he’s worked with, spanning from Florida to Asia. His career as a Director of Sales and Marketing began in 1993, when he oversaw a total of 12 international properties in the New Otani Hotels Group. Since then, he has held this position at multiple hotels around the world, including The Marriott Wailea Resort and Spa in Hawaii, the Paradise Point Resort and Spa in California, the Adams Mark Daytona Beach Resort in Florida, and the Westward Look Resort and Spa in Arizona. In 2007, he relocated to Wine Country as the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel and Spa’s Director of Sales and Marketing, managing 15,000 square feet of meeting space and 155 guest rooms. After leading a regional task force to oversee the transition of four full service hotels to a new management company, he accepted the position as Director of Sales at Silverado Resort. He will be responsible for the development, sales, and maintenance of local, regional, corporate, and transient accounts for the resort, in addition, to managing the seven-person sales team’s performance towards achieving annual room night and revenue goals.
